A Rationalist's Love Poem

When I see you I feel frozen
For that I blame oxytocine.
Things slow down, even time
For that I blame dopamine.
I wish there was a vaccine
Against phenylethylamine.

For what is real love
But firings in the lobe.
It is all in my brains
In my hormones in my veins.
I really wish I could explain
How this drives me insane.

Love is nature’s aid
for males to get laid!
I know I’m so romantic
I’m blunt, that’s my tactic.
To be in love and understand
Why it feels like wonderland.
